Jane is helping Vicki design a Chanel style jacket.
The first step is to get a perfectly fitted muslin.
The sleeve is made of three pieces, and the sleeve cap is
fitted exactly. Then the muslin garment is
removed, taken apart, and the muslin is used as the pattern.
The wool is cut from the muslin pattern with large seam
allowances. In the last two photos you can see the
muslin pattern on the cut wool which is now being used as
the pattern to cut out the lining.
