Barbara M. looks so cute in this lined
jacket made from fine corduroy. The
inside of the neck flounce is lined in a
silk of similar color. |

Sharon just made this unusual denim
jacket with fabric from Emma One Sock. Jane showed
her how to create extra strength and support on the
under collar by channel stitching from the neck edge to
the roll line It worked out so well she plans on
using this technique on all future collars.

Roberta finished this fun lined jacket. She found
this great textured fabric at Britex. She gave the
left overs to Jane, and Jane was able to make a vest.
How great is that!!
She used a wonderful button on the jacket.

Liz M just did a wonderful job with this
simple silk shell. She made a pattern from a
perfectly fitting ready to wear, and she bought
the crepe backed satin from Mood in NY. Jane
suggested she use the satin side to bind the neck and
sleeves. Now she needs one in every color.

Sally finished the skirt she was working on
at the last Asilomar Retreat. She used jean fabric and
a Marcy Tilton pattern.
|

Sally used top stitching to bring out the design
elements. |

Barbara and Sharon made these stylish tee
shirts. Sharon liked hers so well she made several
more.
|

Roberta did a great job with her tee shirt...similar
to a designer tee shirt she had seen. It has serged rolled
edges with two different weights of wooly nylon. This tee
shirt has great style lines.

embroidery with her machine.
